Amy
Chavez grew up next to a cow pasture in Ohio. She can moo with
a mid-western accent. She has an MA in ESL and came to Japan 8 years
ago to teach English. How does she like teaching in Japan? "I
was a little disappointed at first," she says. "Japanese
students don't know how to moo. Most of them have never even heard
a real cow."
